by Josh James
August 25, 2025

DJANGO FESTIVAL ALLSTARS
Get ready for a musical experience that’s electric, virtuosic, and straight from the heart. The Django Festival Allstars bring the legendary Django Reinhardt’s gypsy jazz legacy roaring into the 21st century — and it’s hotter than ever.

With blazing guitar riffs, soaring violin lines, dazzling accordion solos, rock-solid rhythm, and deep grooves on the double bass, this all-acoustic ensemble blends old-school swing with fresh energy and contemporary flair. It’s tradition with a twist — and it swings hard.

At the heart of the band is Samson Schmitt, son of gypsy jazz icon Dorado Schmitt, carrying the torch forward with passion and precision. Alongside him, a dream team of international virtuosos light up the stage with music that celebrates Django, channels Ellington and Armstrong, and surprises with original compositions — and even a “Stevie Wonder moment.

From the cafés of 1930s Paris to today’s biggest jazz stages, the Allstars keep Django’s spirit alive — and dancing with original music in the style. It’s Hip and Hot!

They’ve appeared at SF Jazz, Kennedy Center, Birdland for 25 years, Dizzy’s and Rose Hall, Jazz@ Lincoln Center, Keystone Korner, Hollywood Bowl, Montreal Jazz Festival and Arts Centers Kimmel, Strathmore, Carnegie Hall and more and performed alongside Randy Brecker, James Carter, Joe Lovano, Cyrille Aimee, Anat Cohen, Madeleine Peyroux, Stefon Harris, and Regina Carter as their guests… to name a few.

VERONICA SWIFT
Veronica first gained major international attention in 2015 when she won 2nd place in the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz International Vocals Competition. Swift comes from an esteemed family background in jazz, her mom a jazz vocalist and educator, and her dad a highly regarded gifted jazz pianist. She tours the world at prestigious festivals, clubs, and arts centers, always demonstrating her astounding vocal agility, also known for amazing scatting… honoring her idol, the great Ella.

Judy Collins & Tom Rush

by Gina Graham
August 2, 2025

Experience a night of timeless music and storytelling with two legendary voices in one evening. These iconic singer-songwriters, whose artistry helped shape the folk revival of the ’60s and beyond, take the stage for an intimate and unforgettable concert.

Judy Collins
Judy Collins has inspired audiences with sublime vocals, boldly vulnerable songwriting, personal life triumphs, and a firm commitment to social activism. In the 1960s, she evoked both the idealism and steely determination of a generation united against social and environmental injustices. Five decades later, her luminescent presence shines brightly as new generations bask in the glow of her iconic 55-album body of work, and heed inspiration from her spiritual discipline to thrive in the music industry for half a century.

The award-winning singer-songwriter is esteemed for her imaginative interpretations of traditional and contemporary folk standards and her own poetically poignant original compositions. Her stunning rendition of Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now” from her landmark 1967 album, Wildflowers, has been entered into the GRAMMY® Hall of Fame. Judy’s dreamy and sweetly intimate version of “Send in the Clowns,” a ballad written by Stephen Sondheim for the Broadway musical A Little Night Music, won Song of the Year at the 1975 GRAMMY® Awards. She’s garnered several top-ten hits gold- and platinum-selling albums. Recently, contemporary and classic artists such as Rufus Wainwright, Shawn Colvin, Dolly Parton, Joan Baez, and Leonard Cohen honored her legacy with the album Born to the Breed: A Tribute to Judy Collins.

Tom Rush
Now celebrating six decades of touring, Tom has been thrilling audiences here and abroad with hits like “No Regrets,” “Circle Game,” “Remember Song,” “Urge for Going,” and “Merrimack County.”

Tom Rush’s impact on the American music scene has been profound. He helped shape the folk revival in the ’60s, the folk-rock movement of the ’70s, and then the renaissance of the ’80s and ’90s, his music having left its stamp on generations of artists. James Taylor, Emmylou Harris, Tom Petty and Garth Brooks have cited Tom as a major influence. His early recordings introduced the world to the work of Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne and James Taylor. Subsequently, his Club 47 concerts brought national attention to emerging artists such as Nanci Griffith and Shawn Colvin.

July 23, 2025

Samantha Fish
One of the most formidable guitarists of her generation, the multi-award-winning festival headliner has built a triumphant career whose milestones include earning a GRAMMY® nomination for Death Wish Blues (her 2023 collaboration with rocker Jesse Dayton, which hit #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart) and invitations to tour with The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, SLASH, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Eric Johnson on the Experience Hendrix Tour and more. On her new album Paper Doll, Fish offers up nine powerhouse songs that hit with an unstoppable force, each delivered with an exquisite dose of illuminating insight, soul-soothing empathy, and—above all—newly heightened clarity of vision.

Robert Jon & The Wreck
Reigning from Southern California, Robert Jon & The Wreck take the classic Southern rock sound and infuse it with a distinctly modern edge. Since their inception in 2011, the band—Robert Jon Burrison (lead vocals, guitar), Andrew Espantman (drums, background vocals), Henry James (lead guitar, background vocals), Warren Murrel (bass), and Jake Abernathie (keyboards)—has captivated audiences worldwide with their powerful guitar work, rich vocal harmonies, and genre-blurring songwriting. Their latest studio album, Red Moon Rising (2024), marks a bold new chapter for the band. Produced by the legendary Kevin Shirley (Iron Maiden, The Black Crowes), the album showcases the group’s evolution, blending funk-infused rhythms, heartfelt lyrics, and Southern rock roots.
