Map Marker Lobero Theatre

This special benefit evening supports Good Samaritan Shelter, a nonprofit dedicated to transforming the lives of the Central Coast’s most vulnerable populations. The evening will feature the premiere of Hope Lives Here: Breaking the Cycle of Homelessness, a short documentary created for Public Broadcasting Television. The film offers an intimate look at the challenges of homelessness in Santa Barbara County and the impact of programs that provide shelter, support, and hope.

Before the screening, sponsors and VIP guests will enjoy a reception featuring farm-to-table cuisine prepared by Good Samaritan’s Culinary Training Program, with ingredients grown at Bridgehouse Farm. Following the premiere, the audience will be treated to a musical performance by Lois Mahalia and a intimate conversation between actor Dwayne Henry and Sylvia Barnard, Executive Director of Good Samaritan, of his early life story.

This inspiring evening is designed to bring the community together—raising awareness, celebrating resilience, and helping break the cycle of homelessness.
