Les Arts Florissants brings the passionate music of Claudio Monteverdi vividly to life in a program of sensual madrigals, heartbreak, desire and dazzling vocal interplay. Led by Baroque masters William Christie and Paul Agnew, this historic French ensemble performs with exquisite artistry and dramatic immediacy, capturing a revolutionary moment when music became intensely emotional, theatrical and deeply human. Four centuries later, Monteverdi’s music still feels startlingly modern.
