CHICAGO

In roaring twenties Chicago, aspiring performer Roxie Hart murders a faithless lover and convinces her husband, Amos, to take the rap . . . until he finds out he’s been duped and turns on Roxie. Roxie finds herself in Cook County Jail with the other notorious murderesses including Vaudeville star Velma Kelly. Roxie and Velma become fierce rivals as they compete for the spotlight, the headlines, and the services of shady lawyer Billy Flynn, who promises to win them acquittals. This sharp-edged satire is one of Broadway’s longest-running musicals and features a dazzling score and phenomenal choreography by Bob Fosse.
