Lobero Theatre Spotlight Santa Barbara’s speaker series is proud to present the most consequential Political Columnist in California history, CalMatters’ own Dan Walters. Dan is the most widely syndicated columnist in California history. For decades, he has offered his sometimes-controversial insights concerning CA’s political and social trends. Dan has appeared in the WSJ, Time and on CNN, Fox News, and Capital Public Radio. Mr. Walters is a provocative centrist who is also the author of, “The New California: Facing the 21st Century” and “The Third House: Lobbyists, Money and Power in Sacramento”.
