Introducing Lookout Mountain – The Music of Laurel Canyon: a heartfelt tribute to the legendary music scene that blossomed in the hills above Los Angeles during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Laurel Canyon was a creative epicenter where iconic artists like Joni Mitchell, Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Mamas & The Papas, Carole King, Jackson Browne, Linda Rondstat, James Taylor, and The Byrds gave voice to a generation through songs that remain timeless. Lookout Mountain brings this vibrant era to life, capturing the harmonies, spirit, and soul of the music that shaped a cultural revolution.

The band features a stellar lineup of world-class musicians with deep ties to this music and its legacy: James Raymond (keyboards/vocals), Steve Postell (guitar/vocals), Jeff Pevar (guitar/vocals), Kipp Lennon (vocals), Kiki Ebsen (keyboards/vocals), Steve DiStanislao (drums/vocals), and Andrew Ford (bass). With rich harmonies and deep musicality, Lookout Mountain honors the Canyon’s golden age while bringing its enduring songs to new audiences.

Adding to the evening’s magic, renowned rock photographer Henry Diltz—whose iconic images helped define the look of the era and lived on Lookout Mountain Drive for over twenty-five years — will present a stunning slideshow before each set, sharing rarely heard stories and unforgettable photographs of the Canyon’s legendary scene. Also, Santa Barbara native, singer-songwriter and founding member of Toad the Wet Sprocket, Glen Phillips will be featured on a few songs.
