About EL MARIACHI ESTRELLA DE MEXICO
Founded in June 2008 in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico by the Alfaro Brothers (Ricardo, Martin, Manuel), this project was born thanks to the passion of mariachi music and the patriotic need to represent Mexican culture and roots. In its beginnings it was made up of ten musicians, and the goal was very clear: to reach the peak of success.
After only two months, EL MARIACHI ESTRELLA DE MEXICO was invited to participate in the XV International Encounter of Mariachi and Charreria, held in the city of Guadalajara. Participation in this and other festivals in the region led them to debut the following year at the Degollado Theater along with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Jalisco.
Success was increasing even faster when in 2009 they returned from a national tour and were invited to a live televison program “Lujan en Vivo” broadcast every Monday to Friday, eventually becoming the Official Mariachi of the Program and the most popular in Guadalajara by signing a contract with TELEVISA for 3 years.
Discographic projects consist of 5 materials, “UN SUENO HECHO REALIDAD”, “BICENTENARIO DE MEXICO”, “LA LLAMADA DE MI EX”, “SOY DE JALISCO” and the most recent “QUE LINDO ES MEXICO” with productions and musical arrangements created by Alberto Alfaro, Jordan Alfaro, Santiago Contreras and Ricardo Alfaro.
