About the Event
We are delighted to announce the highly anticipated second edition of the Ceylon International Film Festival.
We received participation from over 50 countries, and our esteemed selection committee and renowned jury are currently engaged in the process of finalizing the selections. The festival will commence with a grand red carpet event at Hatch Hall, Direct Relief in Santa Barbara, California. This will be followed by a series of film screenings and engaging panel talks. The festival will take place October 23rd through October 27th, 2023.
To conclude this spectacular event, a final red carpet event will be held on October 28th, 2023, at the historic Lobero Theater in Santa Barbara, California. The day will feature an additional screening, an exciting award ceremony with mesmerizing cinematic performances, and will conclude with a VIP reception.
Our Mission – We believe that the stories we tell through film can positively impact our world.
The mission of CEYIFF is to:
- Expose U.S. audiences to Sri Lankan and other international films.
- Support Sri Lankan and International filmmakers.
- Create connections between the U.S. film industry and the Sri Lankan film industry.
- Foster educational and cultural exchange between the two countries, with a focus on youth.

$56 - Entertainment & Awards Closing Ceremony only
