BENISE – FIESTA!

Emmy Award Winning Spanish Guitar and Dance Spectacular!

It’s one hot night as Benise, “The Prince of Spanish Guitar,” and his Emmy Award winning production come to town as part of his global tour. Armed with his Spanish guitar, Benise will take the audience on an unprecedented and epic adventure through Spanish Flamenco, Cuban Salsa, Brazilian Samba, Parisian Waltz, exotic drumming, and more!

‘The Prince of Spanish Guitar’  – Dancing With The Stars

Bennissimo!’ – Chicago News

‘Extreme Flamenco Fusion’ – Screen India

FIESTA! showcases songs from Benise’s 7th PBS Special. Performing classic Rock anthems from Led Zeppelin and AC/DC and fusing them with Spanish guitar and dance to bring a fierce intensity to these new interpretations. In addition, Benise adds his signature touch to classics such as “Ave Maria, “Moonlight Sonata,” and Vivaldi’s “Summer” from The Four Seasons.

For Benise, music has always been a journey. From his humble beginnings as a street performer, to being featured on the #1 rated show in the USA – Dancing With The Stars, and performing around the world. “I wanted to push the boundaries of Nuevo Flamenco/Spanish guitar while combining the elements of dance and theater. This show is a celebration of all the shows we’ve done over the last 20 years,” comments composer, virtuoso guitarist and creative force behind the event, Benise.

The Emmy Award-winning composer along with an international cast of musicians and dancers will entertain audiences with a two-hour show that “is an escape from all their problems,” Benise says. “Much like the recent PBS special, with this show I want to take the audience on an escape to Spain…to a beautiful Spanish courtyard filled with Flamenco dancers, stunning costumes, and fiery Spanish guitars. BENISE adds, “This is a great show for the whole family; I really think we have something for everyone.  I hope people will be inspired by our story, by the music, by the production–and have the passion to follow their own dreams. I have always loved to travel, my heritage is Bohemian (from Prague), so I think it’s in my blood. I can’t wait to go to new cities, meet new people, and play every night–it’s what I live for.”

Jesse Colin Young

by Gina Graham
December 1, 2022

Jesse Colin Young has influenced and shaped the character of American music for over 50 years. The artist had a serious solo career showcasing his vocals and guitar work with 2 records before he formed his folk-rock band, The Youngbloods, in 1965. The band made 5 records on RCA and 5 records on Warner Brothers before Jesse went on to make 16 more records in his expansive solo career. His style is now considered Americana, but in fact it’s his unique fusion of folk, rock, jazz, and blues, with an emphasis on his extraordinary voice, that makes his signature sound.

The Youngblood’s version of “Get Together” has been heard by millions, from the Forrest Gump soundtrack, Cats and Dogs: Revenge of Kitty Galore, Fear and Loathing in Los Vegas, The Simpsons “Oh Brother where Bart thou” and “Tree of Horror II”, and South Park’s “Smug Alert” to numerous commercial spots, including one for the 1995 Super Bowl. “Darkness, Darkness,” written by Jesse, was in Jack the Bear, chosen as the theme song for the James Cameron movie Ghosts of the Abyss, and was in the trailer of TV series Bloodline. A cover of the song by Robert Plant won the GRAMMY® for Best Rock Vocal in 2002. Many still cover it today.

His most recent poignant and compelling work, Dreamers (released on BMG in 2019), saw Young exploring a wide array of musical styles blazing country-rock, exhilarating folk, Cajun waltz, neo-blues, and Celtic grooves on 14 new originals that include some of the singer’s most deeply personal lyrics with other cuts that cast a critical eye at the state of the world today. Dreamers is on multiple digital formats, including iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play and Spotify, as well as CD and Vinyl.

Vlad De Briansky

by Gina Graham
November 28, 2022

Born in Ukraine, banned in Russia, Ukrainian-American guitarist Vlad De Briansky became a national sensation with his U.S. debut album Vladosphere in 2004. His radio hits “Little Star” and “Life of My Heart” made him the only instrumental artist in the top 100 radio charts climbing above the heavyweights such as John Mayer or Phil Collins. Vlad’s second release Sun in Capricorn was featured on public and classical radio stations and was nominated for a Grammy award. His latest blues studio album Dreamland was recorded in Ukraine during the pandemic. “Even though I couldn’t travel, I was glad to be in Ukraine, in my Dreamland” – says Vlad.

“Soothing, rich and warm. I don’t think I ever heard a Tele sound so sweet” – says guitarist Steve Vai about Vlad.

“Vlad has the creativity of a Wes Montgomery and the dexterity of an Eric Clapton.” – says Zack Vaz from Motown Records.

Dreamland reached top of the charts around the world, and 2022 was filled with Vlad’s sold-out European tour. And now Vlad brings the Dreamland Blues Tour to the US. Vlad is an outspoken critic of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and he is banned in Russia after Dreamland was #1 Blues album on the Russian music charts. His Dreamland Blues Tour is dedicated to the people of Ukraine and he donates 50% of proceeds from the ticket sales to help Ukrainian refugees.
